Just realized - those women at the geriatric resort said “we wanted to see the white lotus but they only let guests in” how the hell is LBH Gary dropping in every day??
My theory is that Piper is going to get rejected from this program. They keep positioning her as a holier than thou figure with her family but I think her arc is going to be realizing she’s just as entitled as them. She has her family fly to Thailand with no interview set up and now assumes that they will just accept her because she’s used to getting what she wants.
I've been thinking the same things! It's also interesting that Both her and Tim secretly want to stay in Thailand. And maybe Lockey (sp) if he wants to be with the ladyboys (maybe he's transam).
But yes! Even the monk seemed confused by how she acted. And I'm sure many of their applicants are sending desperate application packages from Syracuse and she's just floating in in a floppy hat with an email and a quill.

Agreed! He hates these three privileged white ladies! I also caught that Jaclyn purposely mispronounced his name when she addressed him. She says valen-tin instead of valen-teen and referred to him as their “butler” as some sort of power trip.
Re Chelsea accepting the terms of her relationship:
Rick said to her in a previous episode something like “go find a new rich guy”, and the thing is she easily could. She doesn’t have to accept being demeaned and ignored; if she was just after the lifestyle she could jump to a new LBH who would be nice and party with her (to begin with anyway, and then on to the next) and actually be enjoying it again.
So there must be something more keeping Chelsea with Rick, whether it’s genuine love or something more underhanded
