Saxon did something fucked up (a la Kendall killing that worker from Shiv’s wedding) and Piper knows about it (hence not wanting to be around him) but Lochy doesn’t yet. Dad covered it up and that’s why Saxon works for dad, to stay protected. Victoria is in a constant loopy state to cope and her line about the “perfect family” is her doubling down on everything being okay when it clearly is not.

Highly highly recommend! It depicts the Berlin’s Weimar era, with glimpses of the thriving queer community amidst the backdrop of rising fascism. If there are others in my Venn diagram, hi be my friend. Incredible production quality, theme song to rival all theme songs - ft a live performance of it with choreo. In drag. (I mean the central relationship is v straight and this is ultimately a neo noir crime drama but it is CAMP).
What WL does so amazingly is use the location/landscape as a character. I can’t tell you how many times I whispered “stunning” in a hushed tone. Watching dark things happening in such a beautiful place is part of the experience. I know you briefly touched on that, but would love to hear your thoughts on setting as a character in this series.
